It is always good to see the top notch TL site and RW mentioned by leading thinkers in the sphere. Dr Paul was very magnanimous and rightly so.

ReplyDeleteThe first time was in his congressional office. He was so wonderful and generous with his time. I, being a nobody, got to spend a half hour that day with him simply by calling his office and asking. Nothing more. He signed a pocketbook Constitution and asked me to read it, pointing out that no one "around here" ever has. We chatted a bit and his secretary reminded him he had a radio interviewing coming up. He begged her off to spend 5 more minutes chatting with this nobody, me, off the street.
It was one of the highlights of my life.

Great story, and good for you! I almost saw him at one of his rallies around 2012, but it was so jam-packed, couldn't get in.
DeleteTarget Liberty and EPJ are the first two sites of many that I habituate each morning. Goes well with my morning coffee.
