"If I Am Trump, I Am Real Concerned."
I had a conversation this morning with a very serious Democratic Party insider. A big time money guy, not a strategist, but Hillary and Obama take his calls immediately.
He was absolutely ecstatic about the results from yesterday's primaries.
He seemed perfectly content with Joe Biden as the 2020 Democratic Party presidential candidate.
"If I am Trump, I am real concerned," he said.
I asked him about Biden's obvious mental deterioration. It didn't seem to bother him.
He just shrugged and said, "Trump can't put a full paragraph together."
I didn't state the obvious that Joe sometimes can't put a full word together.
He was the most energized that I have seen him since the presidential campaigns started.
It seems, the Democratic establishment really seems to think they have a potential winning candidate in Biden.

If I am the Donald, I'm more concerned about owning the economic dowturn.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's juts me, but when I think about the presidential debates, I can only envision Biden getting ragdolled by Trump.
ReplyDeleteIt couldn’t get worse than Hillary or Trump and it hasn’t but, it isn’t any better. You would think a “big time money guy” would have more common sense to be energized by Biden being their guy. Maybe not feeling the Bern is such a big relief.
ReplyDeleteThey have never gotten it wrong before. Maybe they aren’t the best forecasters.
ReplyDeleteAt the democratic convention Biden will announce that he can't run for president, so Hillary is taking his place.
ReplyDeleteThe common sense dissonance in politics never ceases to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteIf the economy tanks, any Dem will win. Biden will be declared incompetent quickly so the establishment's pick will be president. If Trump wins, the establishment wins. Nice odds if you can get them.
