Twitter's Jack Dorsey Maxes Out Donations to Tulsi Gabbard

Hmmm.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has for this cycle maxed out his contributions to U.S. Representative and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, according to Federal Election Commission records.

He gave $2,800 each to Gabbard's primary fund and her general election campaign fund, the maximum amount allowed for individuals under federal law, reports BuzzFeed. -RW

  1. This is an illustration of the pathology of the current federal election law re campaign contributions. Back in the pre-regulation days, Stewart Mott (an GM heir) and a few others were able to bankroll the (anti-war) campaign of Eugene McCarthy and effectively topple LBJ. (Not to mention John Hancock and Robert Morris.)

  2. Its a shame to be honest. I like Tulsi but the contributions from nut jobs like Dorsey wont help her campaign at all.
