Schumer Announces Support for Slavery Reparations Bill

Chuck Schumer
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told a small group of reporters Tuesday that he will support legislation proposed by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) to establish a commission to study reparations for slavery, reports Axios.

"I’ve always believed racism is the poison of America," Schumer said.

"What McConnell said was just preposterous and that’s why I’m supporting this legislation," Schumer told Axios.

"In his actions as majority leader, he's done nothing to combat bigotry," he added, "When a significant part of America is held back, all of America is held back."

Schumer is one very confused dude.

If the commission is to study reparations for slavery, it has nothing to do with racial bigotry.

As I have pointed out before, racial bigotry is in my view goofy but so what if someone is a bigot? (SEE: About My Racist Friends, My Homophobic Friends and My Own Prejudices and Why Racism Is No Big Deal)

As for holding blacks back, that is occurring, but it is being done by the government, the very group that Schumer is a very high ranking manner of.

If Schumer were serious about helping blacks, he would spend his time attempting to free anyone in prison on drug charges. He would move to end horrific forced public school education and he would support the end of the anti-black minimum wage.

But instead of supporting these efforts, he spends his time doing favors for the crony elite. One wonders what Jeffrey Epstein expected of him in return for the donations he made to Schumer.

  1. Smoke this over Chucky: the US government has already paid reparations to black folks. What do you think programs like the War on Poverty and Affirmative Action are if not reparations?

  2. Schumer is one of the worst of the worst for many reasons but his push to take down the Silk Road website and his influence in the treatment and sentencing of Ross Ulbricht is a clear low light.
