Is Kim Jong-un Watching 'Ron Paul's Liberty Report'?

By Robert Wenzel

I have written more than once here that Ron Paul's Liberty Report, which features Daniel McAdams and Dr. Paul, is the best online current events discussion show.

Recently, when I traveled to promote my new book. Foundations of Private Property Society Theory, I was asked often when I could see acceptance for a Private Property Society gaining traction.

My answer has always been "I don't know, with the Frankfurt School and its social justice nonsense having such a powerful impact on the masses these days, it may be a long time, if ever. But then I quickly added that the world is a very complex place and you never know when a well-placed dealer in ideas is going to emerge to promote ideas in just the right way to get things moving in the right direction."

When it comes to liberty, the best promoter of ideas at the present time is Dr. Paul and he may have just hit gold with his persistent, uncompromising, principled advancement of liberty.

For the second time, the North Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs Ri Yong-Ho has tweeted out recognition of a Liberty Report discussion relating to North Korea:

Is it too much of a jump to think that Kim is aware of his Minister's tweets on this very important topic?

I'd like to see Daniel and Dr. Paul take their effort one step further and devote a show to what a "North Korean Economic Miracle" would look like.

They could start by discussing how a great German economist, Ludwig Erhard, after World War II ignored the ruling U.S. and British occupiers and boldly in their face removed all price controls in West Germany which launched the start of what has become known as the "German Economic Miracle."

It is indeed possible for Kim to launch a truly spectacular "North Korean Economic Miracle" that opens up markets and immediately opens up unilateral trade with South Korea and all comers.

Kim knows what freedom and prosperity look like, he studied in Switzerland. Daniel and Dr. Paul should discuss how Kim could bring that type prosperity to North Korea.

  3. I suggest taking it one leap further: Ron and Daniel visit North Korea as a marketing strategy if nothing else.
