It is this same group that controls the media and constantly decries any white person who prefers his race have a homeland as the next Hitler, yet in the same breath will claim that it is essential that jews remain an ethnic majority in Israel. The cognitive dissonance of such a high IQ population is staggering. Try being a prominent figurehead who speaks out against the jews or Israel and you will find yourself cut off from payment processors, banking access and even most of the clear web. With that kind of power, it's no wonder that those in positions of authority kneel at the feet of the jews.
Chomsky nails the evangelical support for Israel. Although in their hearts they are not by any means anti-Semite. They believe that the people of Israel are God’s “chosen people” still, and also believe in the passages of the Bible that say God will bless those that bless Israel, and curse those that curse Israel. My personal belief is they have a misunderstanding of the passage as it relates to today. They also believe that Russia, is the Gog and Magog of the bible, that will come down from the north and attack Israel. That’s why, even though the Russians are Orthodox Christians, so many evangelicals in America have no problem going to war, and see war, with Russia as inevitable. This is why they are such war mongers against the Middle East, the enemies of Israel are their enemies. And there are millions of them. And they think it is their Christian command to vote. Which is what worries me about them. Fighting the left against progressivism ends up being a mute point if we are in a nuclear war.
I think it is deeper than that. One by one thebgreat western Christian nations came to stymie themselves as God's New Chosen People. The Germans took it to the logical conclusion by trying to eliminate the genuine article. America's support for Israel is the result of Americans trying to write themselves into the Bible. Americans don't want to imagine that someday they will go the way of the Hittites and the Alan's, so they try to buddy up with Israel in hopes.od getting in on that good God stuff.
