Trump doesn't even believe that.
He said today during his press conference:
Now, I don’t know that I’m gonna get along with Vladimir Putin. I hope I do. But there’s a good chance I won’t. And if I don’t, do you honestly believe that Hillary would be tougher on Putin than me? Does anybody in this room really believe that? Give me a break.-RW
This is the most scrutinized pre-presidency ever. It's as if he's already president. He's not.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if the above rhetoric means anything. The war with Deep State does, however. It contradicts Wenzel's interpretation. Would they be going to war with Hillary? NO.
- Deep State, obviously, doesn't trust Trump to do what they want.
- Whether Trump truly is bending towards intel community or not, the media is reporting and touting responses in a way that artificially makes it look like Trump is bending.
Trump is doing something I would do, too. Keep low, give them what they want for now since it's just rhetoric and nothing of power. It's not like I'm going to say "YEAH, I'M GONNA BE LIKE RON PAUL ABOUT IT!" That would just be dumb. It's like "HIT ME! HIT ME!" to a bunch of Deep State thugs. Of course you can be "tough" on Putin at least to gain respect from him. Trump is right that he doesn't respect Obama nor would he have Hillary. Right now it's just rhetoric, and Deep State knows; otherwise, they would be easing up.
Doesn't mean Trump won't succumb to threats or tricks. For right now, we'll have to see when he gets into office.
On a side note: People are getting a closer look at Deep State, which is good.
