Trump's Sec. of State Nominee Criticizes Obama for Refusing to Provide More Arms to Ukraine

During the Senate hearing on Rex Tillerson’s nomination as secretary of state Tillerson had this to say (via The New York Times):
Mr. Tillerson also told the committee that if he had been serving in office when Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, he would have recommended that the United States provide arms and intelligence support to the government of Ukraine, and said the Obama administration’s reaction was viewed in Moscow “as a weak response.”

  1. I hope that Trump et al are building up their "tough on Russia" cred to enable a "Nixon goes to China" scenario.
    Otherwise, I guess even that bright spot in Trump's plans was bogus. Sigh...
