BREAKING FBI Arrests at Verrazano Bridge Possible Link to Yesterday's Bombing:Now Police Presence New Jersey Transit

 Large police presence ongoing at Verrazano–Narrows Bridge in Brooklyn.

Eyewitnesses tell B911 that over a dozen NYPD officers in swat gear armed with rifles had a vehicle stopped on the Belt Parkway.

Multiple people were in custody.

It is unknown if this incident has any connection to the bombings in Manhattan on Saturday night.
The highway was completely brought to a standstill as New Yorkers watched this operation.\

From CBS New York:

Several people are in custody after the FBI made a car stop on the Belt Parkway near the Verrazano Bridge Sunday evening.

The FBI called the NYPD for backup following the stop.

CBS2 reports that both agencies are on the scene and several people are in custody.

According to state Sen. Martin Golden, this incident is possibly connected to the Chelsea bombing, however, that has yet to be confirmed.

“Update from the NYPD: About an hour ago, the FBI took several individuals into custody on the Belt Parkway in the area underneath the Verrazano Bridge, with a possible connection to the bombing last night in Chelsea,”
