Breaking Obama and Putin Talked Today

President Barack Obama and President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation today, the Kremlin said, according to AP.

The two presidents reportedly discussed the conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh, Syria and Ukraine, the Kremlin said. On Nagorno-Karabakh, Putin reportedly told Obama about a meeting he recently hosted between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan. On Syria, the Kremlin said the two men discussed building up military coordination, part of an alleged proposal the White House recently made to Moscow about coordinating bombing campaigns against the al Qaeda-linked militant group Jabhat al-Nusra, according to Stratfor.

  1. al-Nusra? Curious, they are pretty much the "rebels" that the US has been arming to fight assad all along. Going to bomb them now?
