It saddens me to hear two intelligent people relying on the hope that Rand Paul will find his footing in the debates, because I am afraid Rand is totally incapable of winning a rigged debate in a Republican Party forum. Rand has no core beliefs or knowledge on which he can have a firm footing to carry the fight to the Neocon philosophy successfully.
Rand always puts his goalposts down in big government territory. He promises a softer form of tyranny and it sucks many classical liberals in.
