Trump said that he plans to sue Univision "for a tremendous amount of money" after Univision officials announced they will not air the pageant – which is partly owned by Trump – because of comments he made about Mexican immigrants during his speech announcing his presidential canidacy.
“When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best,” Trump said during the speech. “They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
Below is a copy of the letter Trump sent to Univision Communications president Randy Falco:
In a related incident, Univision President Alberto Ciurana apologized early Friday morning for comparing Trump to Dylann Roof, the man who murdered nine in an attack on a black church in Charleston, S.C.
Trump did not accept Ciurana’s apology and called for Ciurana’s resignation.
“Apology not accepted,” Trump said in a statement. “I call for his resignation as president of Univision and Univision should not be allowed to host the Presidential debate. It is a total conflict of interest.”

I may not like most of his politics, but damn does he bring some entertainment to this race.
ReplyDeleteAlways better than a bunch of statists and no enterntainment at all.
I dislike most of what Trump stands for as well, but he does offer a blueprint on how to fight off the statists, neocons, and cultural Marxists. The tactics Rand employs are the exact opposite of how one must fight opposition. It has been said of the Apostle Paul that everywhere he went there was either a riot or revival. True libertarians must follow these same methods.
