The sociopath power-freak. Anthony Fauci predicted Sunday that mask-wearing could eventually become “seasonal” as protection against ailments like the flu that can also be spread through the air.
He said Americans over the course of the pandemic have gotten used to wearing face coverings, which “diminishes respiratory diseases.”
“We’ve had practically a non-existent flu season this year merely because people were doing the kinds of public health things that were directed predominantly against COVID-19,” Fauci said on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.”
“So it is conceivable that as we go on, a year or two or more from now, that during certain seasonal periods when you have respiratory-borne viruses like the flu, people might actually elect to wear masks to diminish the likelihood that you’ll spread these respiratory-borne diseases,” Fauci continued.
Judging from what is going on in San Francisco, this might actually be the case.
Although mask-wearing for "the vaccinated" is not required at either the federal, state or local levels more than 95% of people on the streets continue to wear masks.
On Sunday, this fisherman on a pier in San Francisco had no one around him for literally thousands of feet but he was still wearing a mask.

ReplyDeleteActing against human nature like this results in self destruction. Nature always acts to remove the corruption of those who refuse to accept reality. Our problem, as those who see the dangers of wounded minds in power, is that we are swept along in the river with those who are self destructing.
There was only one survivor of the Jonestown massacre. That was a mass psychosis event much like what we are suffering on a worldwide scale.
We do what we can to save ourselves and others, but the infection is in mans psyche. The State is just the physical manifestation of that unrecognized infection.
It's hard to overstate how egregiously mistaken Fauci is in regards to the impact of masks on flu season. I hope Rand Paul takes him to task.
ReplyDeleteFlu cases disappeared globally around April 30th, 2020 and have not returned anywhere. This is regardless of mask adherence. For example, Sweden is rather infamous in Fauci-worship circles for lack of mask wearing. Yet, they've also had no flu. In the United States, flu cases plummeted to zero before Fauci and crew had anyone regularly in masks here. 4/30/20 is before mask adherence in the US became widespread.
So it's rather easy to show he's completely ignorant on this subject. Masks can be completely ruled out from being the cause of flu disappearance.
The theory of viral interference seems the likely cause.
But whatever the cause, it's important that we are loud about how wrong and stupid this is. The science will eventually win out. It just may take a decade lol.
Viral interference is possible. I think it is also likely that most cases of flu were diagnosed as covid 19. The symptoms overlap so much that this makes such a thing likely.

DeleteI believe it was Japan, which is a heavy voluntary mask-wearing country due to long-standing cultural traditions, that several years ago had a huge and bad flu season.

This was predictable. Those indoctrinated by corporate media, public education, the political class, etc have allowed themselves to be caught in the storm of propaganda built around the perfect crisis for these powers-that-should-not-be. One of the things I have worried about early in the New Abnormal is this over aversion to risk and that the anti-social aspects of it would not only linger if the plandemic is declared over but that a lot of it would become permanent. Not because of continued dictates from authority but fear within the population.
ReplyDeleteI often claim that we now have so much comfort that what would have been a slight discomfort a decade or so ago is now treated as almost inhumane. A lot of this is good progression but, it has also led to a loss of touch with reality.

There are a number of things in this presentation that could be emphasized. One is the lack of planning for this pandemic. Dave Smith has touched on this too. After all the previous pandemic scares over the past decade and the “gaming” of pandemics that have taken place they shut down the world with no plan. Of course the non-plan was probably the plan.
I don't understand the lack of planning bit; every standard practice for dealing with "pandemics" was thrown out the window in 2020 because of THE SCIENCE(tm).

ReplyDeleteMy Talisman of Protection against Monsters---a necklace of garlic and belladonna around my neck---seems to work just as well as the mask. I got the idea from my years playing Dungeons and Dragons in college.
