In response to Senile Joe calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a killer, Putin has responded with a call for a debate with Biden.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reacted to President Joe Biden calling him a "killer" by challenging Biden to take part in a conversation with him broadcast live online.“I’ve just thought of this now,” Putin told a Russian state television reporter. “I want to propose to President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it basically live, as it’s called. Without any delays and directly in an open, direct discussion. It seems to me that would be interesting for the people of Russia and for the people of the United States.”...
After issuing his invitation, Putin said he didn’t want to delay, proposing he and Biden hold the discussion as early as Friday.“I don’t want to put this off for long. I want to go the taiga this weekend to relax a little,” Putin said. “So we could do it tomorrow or Monday. We are ready at any time convenient for the American side.”
Am I the only one who would be cheering for Putin to, at least rhetorically, kick Biden's ass?

I have no reason to move. Pretty juvenile on your part, actually. I simply know that Putin could outdo Biden in a debate and it would be worth watching.

I don't watch any political news, but this is something I wouldn't miss. It will never happen.
ReplyDeleteThe language barrier would be a major problem. Putin does not speak English fluently and Biden speaks no Russian. Interpreters would be used and meanings would be distorted. Although the challenge of thinking on his feet would probably show Biden to be a fool I prefer the two leaders agree to a full contact televised session of wrestling. If Biden wins trade barriers remain in place if Putin wins all trade barriers are abolished. Putin's certain win would be a great victory for the people of the U.S. and Russia and it would be hilariously funny to watch. I see no better way for any President to serve the people of the U.S.

ReplyDeleteArm... you forgot to take your meds or something? Every politician is a thief, but some are smart enough to understand that they should keep their subjects happy, too. Putin is smart. On top of that, he is a genuine patriot - a product of KGB indoctrination. KGB instilled patriotism to make defection less likely. In this case it clearly worked, and it shows... Russia now is in much better shape than it was when Putin came to power.
