Son of Rep. Jamie Raskin is Dead

Tommy Raskin

The 25-year-old son of U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) has died.

Raskin was a second-year student at Harvard Law School and a graduate of Amherst College.

In a statement from the congressman's office, Raskin and his wife were quoted as saying:

Tommy was pure magic. His brilliance and compassion knew no bounds. He passionately loved his family, friends, and animals, and was devoted to the cause of the global poor.  We are devastated and demolished to be without him.

Ahem, no cause of death has been announced.

Rep. Raskin has been a hardcore lockdown freak.

 The lockdowns should be ended. Suicides among youth during this lockdown period are soaring as important life experiences and human interaction are cut for those just attempting to get serious about understanding the world. It is solitary confinement for them. It must be incredible mental torture for some.

Regardless of how Tommy died, death at an early age is extremely painful for those close to the deceased. The congressman is surely experiencing that now.

But lockdown deaths must be put at the feet of the lockdown freaks.

Rest in peace, Tommy.
