The Bastards Are Starting to Turn Off the COVID-19 Fearmongering as Joe Biden is Set to Enter the White House

Scott Gottlieb

Anthony Fauci's criminal big pharma sidekick, former FDA commissioner Scott Gottlieb, writes in The Wall Street Journal:

The novel coronavirus is about to make its last major stand, so prepare for the most difficult six weeks yet. But things will look up as spring approaches. Stay safe and try to avoid being the last person to get sick from Covid-19.

Next year will still require caution, but fear of Covid won’t dominate life after the winter recedes. Prevalence will decline sharply in the spring and summer. The virus may re-emerge in the fall, but it can be a manageable threat with the right precautions.

That said, relegating the pandemic to 2020 will require some changes. The virus is likely to become endemic, meaning it will continue to circulate but at a much lower level than the epidemic. If we are prudent, next fall could look like an especially virulent flu season in which the vaccines are a poor match. Most of the activities Americans enjoy will resume, though some of them will require precautions.

That starts with changes in the way people go to work. It should be frowned upon to come to work sick and try to “brave out” a cold. Testing for flu and Covid will be widespread with home tests. Many people may still prefer to wear masks in public venues, but they won’t be required. We will be more mindful of ventilation indoors and crowds in confined spaces.

But he is still pushing the poorly tested COVID-19 vaccines:

The priorities for next year will be to pass out vaccines widely, hopefully with all Americans eligible by the spring, while continuing to collect information on safety and benefits. It will also be essential to provide easy access to vaccination—preparing drugstores to offer the Covid vaccine like flu shots. If a high percentage of the most vulnerable populations are vaccinated, that would sharply reduce Covid risk. The benefits will be even greater if, as hoped, vaccines don’t merely reduce the risk of severe symptoms but also reduce the chance of being infected and spreading it around.

Oh, by the way,  Gottlieb sits on the board of COVID vaccine producer Pfizer and Illumina a COVID testing producer.

  1. As much as I hate to see the morally heinous, economically imbecilic hysteria-mongers claim an eventual victory, one of the best things about Biden winning is that perhaps they'll rush to get back to normal to give him a short-term "victory," and returning to normal is top of my list.

    1. Agreed, and yet I really have the feeling that we're not getting out of this so easily.

    2. Some of our short term business strategizing has been along these lines. My contacts let me know that during the Obummer regime a lot of money was sidelined due to the anti-business attitude of the administration. The incoming administration seems will be even worse for free markets and freedom in general.

    3. I wish that was the case, but Biden is a build back better guy that sits front row at the WEC so I think they'll continue to push the great reset, which means no going back to normal.

  2. Did anyone notice that the American "Medical" Association rescinded their skepticism against HCQ in late October/early November? I heard on another podcast that the CDC or FDA will only grant an Emergency Use Authorization for a new drug if there isn't something already approved that is effective against the ailment. HCQ has been around since the 1950s; nobody is going to make any money on it...any patents are long expired. But with a new vaccine Big Pharma can probably get the gov't to subsidize its R&D, the intellectual property probably belongs to the drug companies, the drug companies can probably get a nice 20% or more profit on sale of the vaccine to the gov't, and the gov't provide immunity from ever being sued.

    1. This has been widely reported, but UT isn't true. There was a proposal to rescind its anti-HCQ position, but it was rejected.

  3. I agree it's coming to an end. Note the tone of this article: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/who-braved-seeing-wonder-woman-1984-in-theaters-amid-the-pandemic.

Folks who venture into movie theaters are now called "brave," though the previous narrative called them "super spreaders."

Hollywood and the left coast liberals are feeling the effects ... in their wallets .. and don't like it.

COVID as a pandemic will wrap up and become a minor inconvenience at 12:01 PM on Jan 20.

  4. This will happen when people are duped into believing that there is someone who is good enough to rule over them.
