What Are Trump's Odds of Surviving COVID-19?

President Trump has tested positive for COVID-19.

A 74-year-old has approximately a 3% chance of death from COVID-19 and a 10-15% chance of severe illness.

To adjust for Trump and away from an average, he is overweight which would bump the numbers up in the risk categories. On the other hand, he plays golf so he gets more vitamin D than the average 74-year old and, I guess, we can assume he is going to get the best care (unless Fauci is in the room).

  1. Robert, I thought the last numbers from the CDC on Monday said that a person in their 70’s had a 0.054% chance of death from Covid-19?

    1. You are looking at the wrong number. That is the death rate for the entire age group of 70 year olds. The death rate jumps for those infected.

    2. I believe that changed Monday according to the CDC.
Infection fatality ratio for 70+ is 0.054%.
Of course I may not understand what this means either which is quite likely.

    3. Stats are meaningless. Since there is no way to know how many people have actually been infected and become a "case" the case fatality rate is unknown. However, our own common sense experience with covid-19 and other viruses for the past 10,000 years suggests he is very likely to survive this virus. He may not survive the hysteria.

  2. He and his wife "tested" "positive". Meaningless when you are talking about illness. The two are not related.

  3. The Covid positive story is a good cover for someone (probably within his own staff) to knock him off with some other substance.

    1. That was my first thought. It may be a doctored (heh-heh) result or it could also be a false positive, which in my mind is the most likely case.

  4. If he takes hydroxy and lives, it could garner him a political victory. But he is likely to join the mask crazies after this.

  5. Back in May, Ron Paul interviewed Dr. Robin Armstrong who was the physician at a Texas nursing home. Facing 39 Covid-19 cases among the patients and staff, he cured 37 of them with HCQ, zinc and the antibiotic. But that's not REAL EVIDENCE!

  6. We should assume that the Donald will want to take HCQ. If HCQ is as affective as it has been reported to be by many and Trump is not given a placebo by his deep state handlers, this will be a blip lasting a week or two and comb over man will have a “told you so.”

  7. Dr. Kary Mullis, inventor of the PCR test wrote, on May 7, 2013: “PCR detects a very small segment of the nucleic acid which is part of a virus itself. The specific fragment detected is determined by the somewhat arbitrary choice of DNA primers used which become the ends of the amplified fragment.”

  8. According to Andrew Kaufman SARS-CoV-2 has not been properly isolated.

So what are they testing for?
