President Trump’s COVID-19 adviser Dr. Scott Atlas said today that Trump likely will have a “rapid recovery” after contracting the virus.
“It is no surprise that people get the infection, even with precautions,” Atlas told Fox News. “I anticipate a complete and full and rapid recovery back to normal after his necessary confinement period. I anticipate he’ll be back on the road and in full swing.”
Atlas, a neuroradiologist, called Trump a “super vigorous man” and said he’s “never seen anyone with more energy and more vigor, at any age, but particularly at his age.”
“He is a very, very healthy guy,” Atlas said. “And the overwhelming majority of people, even at his age, do fine with this. He is very healthy, and so I anticipate the same for him.”

This isn't a clinic in Tijuana. Back in May, the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine stated that their protocol appeared to cure almost all patients who arrived with full blown ARDS. Further, they said the reason that so many people had died from Covid-19 was because the general protocol involved no treatment at all:

Members of our group have now treated in excess of 100 hospitalized patients with our treatment protocol. Nearly all survived, The 2 that died were in their eighties and had advanced chronic medical conditions. None of the patients have had long stays on the ventilator nor become ventilator dependent The patients generally have a short hospital stay and are discharged in good health.
ABSENCE OF EFFECTIVE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS: Before I go into the process and rationale for our treatment protocol, I want to highlight three critical factors that we feel are contributing to the COVID-19 crisis which we call upon the health societies to address: 1) The fact that nearly all national and international health societies such as the WHO, CDC, ACP, ATS, and many others have issued treatment recommendations focusing almost solely on “supportive care only” strategies, things like Tylenol for fever, gentle hydration/nutrition then oxygen or a ventilator to support breathing.. THIS STRATEGY IS CLEARLY FAILING AS EVIDENCED BY UNPRECEDENTED DEATH RATES AND WIDESPREAD AND LIFE-THREATENING SHORTAGES IN VENTILATORS, ICU BEDS, AND ICU PHYSICIANS AND NURSES. OUR EARLY RECOGNITION OF THE FAILURE OF THIS TREATMENT APPROACH IS WHAT PROMPTED US TO FORM OUR GROUP.

The protocol described at this Ocala, Florida hospital sounds like the successful Wisconsin protocol. I'm surprised this made it onto Fox News. I'm surprised that the doctors are still alive.

Good stuff. Thanks.
DeleteHow does one 'recover' from something which never made one feel sick or created any symptoms? It's more like being exposed to something but the body fought it off so nothing ever happened to recover from.
ReplyDelete“He is a very, very healthy guy,” Atlas said.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Trump looks like he can barely get a necktie on underneath that wattle. He's got to be pushing at least 250 and I would seriously doubt he could even deadlift his bodyweight, much less squat it, or even run a mile in less than fifteen minutes. Healthy is not an adjective anyone other than a fanboy would use to describe him.
Either a fanboy or cause he writes his check. Hahaha
DeleteWell what is he going to say? 'The President is a goner'?
ReplyDeleteVery true.
