Gyms within government buildings in San Francisco have been open for months, despite privately owned establishments being ordered to close due to the coronavirus, reports The Washington Examiner.
“It’s shocking, it’s infuriating,” Daniele Rabkin, of Crossfit Golden Gate, told a local NBC station. “Even though they’re getting exposed, there are no repercussions, no ramifications? It’s shocking.”
The gyms that have been open for government employees include those for police officers, judges, lawyers, bailiffs, and paralegals, according to the report. One such gym, the Hall of Justice gym, has been open since July 1.
“It just demonstrates that there seems to be some kind of a double standard between what city employees are allowed to do and what the residents of San Francisco are allowed to do,” Dave Karraker, owner of MX3 Fitness in the Castro, said.
"While City employees may now workout indoors in an open gym environment, the rest of San Francisco gyms remain closed due to COVID restrictions," says Dave Karraker, an organizer of the the San Francisco Independent Fitness Studio Coalition and co-owner of MX3 Fitness in SF's Castro district. "The hypocrisy of such action by the City is in stark contrast to the announcement from the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce [last] Tuesday, stating that 54% of businesses in the City are now closed. San Francisco’s entire fitness industry, closed for almost six months, is on the verge of complete collapse."
Meanwhile, protesters (some in curlers), late last week, gathered in front of the San Francisco residence of Nancy Pelosi and hung blow dryers and hair curlers in a tree outside her house to protest her elitist move of getting her hair done in a San Francisco salon when they are all ordered shut.
After the Pelosi hair uproar began, she claimed she was shocked, shocked to learn that salons were closed for elitist one on one treatments.
The protesters would have none of it.
The cowardly, when it comes to confronting elitists, San Francisco mayor, London Breed, refused to comment on the Pelosi elitist move. She simply did an awkward political jumbled two-step when asked by reporters about Pelosi's hair trip.None of these demonstrators in front of Nancy Pelosi’s home are salon owners or workers. They’ve all described themselves “angry salon customers” who want to get their hair and nails done @sfchronicle pic.twitter.com/fVMVM2Aajl— Jessica Christian (@jachristian) September 3, 2020
Let's see how Breed handles the government exposed elitism. She may fall on her ass trying to dance out of this one.

Anyone who continues to be shocked by these revelations aren’t facing important aspects of reality.
ReplyDeleteMust wear a mask (but we don't have to!)
ReplyDeleteCan't go to the gym (but we can!)
Can't eat or drink indoors at a restaurant/bar (but we can!)
Can't travel to visit relatives/friends (but we can!)
Must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival (except we don't have to!)
Can't get your hair cut (but we can!)
How these thugs can still show their faces in public is beyond me. People ought to be enraged enough to want to strangle them.
All this for a virus that has never been isolated and proven to cause illness (see Dr Andrew Kaufman on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1ZwNxmuYVU). And the CDC's own all cause death data showed no significant year-over-year increase in mortality until AFTER lockdowns (and we know lockdowns led to increased suicides, drug overdoses, other serious illnesses going untreated, ventilators effectively being murder weapons, etc.) so this gigantic power grab is a complete hoax.
We really need to revive the charming and useful practice of tar-and-feathering government officials, and sending them out of town on a rail (where available). Horse-whipping, and placing people in stocks in the public square, are way under-appreciated as well.
