What Mental Enhancement Drugs Does Joe Biden Take Before Debates?

President Trump says he will call for drug tests for both former Vice President Joe Biden and himself before the first presidential debate on Sept. 29.

In an Oval Office interview on Wednesday, reports The Washington Examiner, the president expressed suspicion at what he said was a sudden, marked improvement in Biden's debate performance during the Democratic primary season and suggested that he believes the improvement was the result of drugs.

"Nobody thought that he was even going to win," Trump said. "Because his debate performances were so bad. Frankly, his best performance was against Bernie. We're going to call for a drug test, by the way, because his best performance was against Bernie. It wasn't that he was Winston Churchill because he wasn't, but it was a normal, boring debate. You know, nothing amazing happened. And we are going to call for a drug test because there's no way — you can't do that."

Q: "What do you think was going on?"

"I don't know how he could have been so incompetent in his debate performances and then all of a sudden be OK against Bernie," Trump answered. "My point is, if you go back and watch some of those numerous debates, he was so bad. He wasn't even coherent. And against Bernie, he was. And we're calling for a drug test."

Q: "Is this like a prizefight, where beforehand you have a test?"

"Well, it is a prizefight," Trump answered. "It's no different from the gladiators, except we have to use our brain and our mouth. And our body to stand. I want all standing; they want to sit down."

I have been hinting at Biden taking some kind of short-term mental enhancer since the debates.

In February, I wrote:
And speaking of Sleepy Joe, it appeared that the doctors got his pre-debate testosterone shot dosage just about right this time. His performance probably helped him.
I'm told that Biden is also likey being given Ritalin or Piracetam.

From Harvard Health:
Testosterone levels decline with age, just when memory begins to slow. Might falling hormone levels account for some of the problem? Perhaps, says Harvard Men's Health Watch. The data are far from conclusive, but studies have found some connections. For instance, higher testosterone levels in midlife have been linked to better preservation of tissue in some parts of the brain. And in older men, higher testosterone levels have been associated with better performance on cognitive tests.
From The Conversation:
Methylphenidate, best-known under its brand name Ritalin, is a psychostimulant that increases the concentration of the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain. Methylphenidate is usually prescribed to people who have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Indeed, this drug can have positive effects on memory performance.

From WebMD:
Piracetam is a chemical that is made in a lab. In some countries in Europe it is used as a drug to improve memory and brain function... It is also used for dementia...
Piracetam is a chemical that is thought to help cells in the brain and blood vessels to function better. During aging and in some kinds of diseases, the membrane that surrounds cells starts to get stiff. Cells with a stiff membrane do not function as well. Some scientists think that piracetam helps maintain the membrane that surrounds cells so that they continue to function well.
Judging by Sleepy Joe's performance in reading his nomination acceptance speech last week at the Democratic National Party convention, it appears that Joe's doctors probably have the cocktail mix of whatever they are giving him, if they are giving him anything, just right.

It is a shrewd move for Trump to ask for drug tests before the debates.

  1. Cocaine.

Ritalin and piracetam are pretty weak nootropics (I tried both for a while - in my line of work mental sharpness is paramount).

Testosterone is not nootropic at all - if you want bigger muscle mass or sexual function and such, it works; it doesn't do much at all about cognition.

    1. It is about the right cocktail combination and dosage.

Testosterone and piracetam would do it.

They would be using very high dosages of piracetam in combo with testosterone.

You would notice a cocaine high.

  3. As much as I despise (most of) Trump's policies and personnel choices, I do admire his ability to rile up the Progressives and speak his unfiltered mind.

    1. I agree. But admire is too strong. An "unfiltered mind" is not so much an ability as it is a genetic trait. A trait common to many comedians and it is this I appreciate. When this personality collides with most politicians who's thought and speech is measured and controlled for effect you get comedy. Like watching the Keystone Cops chase the feckless Hero.
