Justin Amash to Vote in Favor of Impeachment

CNN reports:

Rep. Justin Amash, a Michigan independent who left the Republican Party this summer after he backed formal impeachment proceedings, said he would back three articles of impeachment: obstruction of Congress, obstruction of justice and abuse of power..."I think there's sufficient evidence for all three," Amash said Friday on his way to the House floor.

The impeachment is not really an anarcho-capitalist thing. It is a power battle between Trump and various elements of the Deep State.

That said, I really don't mind the process itself throwing sand in the gears of the state, but it is malarkey for Amash to claim that there is some kind of evidence of Trump doing anything wrong in terms of violating the Constitution.

Further, I don't want to see the Deep State win this. It will make them more powerful. So for strategic reasons, to weaken Deep State maneuvering, I hope the Senate lets loose and destroys the impeachment claims with evidence of shady operations of Deep State operatives.

I know, I know, we probably only have a 50% chance that the Republican Senate will really let it rip but I have bought extra popcorn just in case.

As for Amash: Amash who?
