Would Kamala Harris as President Work to Ban Home Schooling?

Kamala Harris
This is pure speculation on my part but I don't think you can rule it out.

For a woman that just reeks of terrible statist positions, Kamala Harris' horrific views on children and the state standout by far.

During a town hall she held yesterday in Des Moines, Iowa, she called for universal pre-K and she also said that it is not only time that we show concern for our own children but "also the children of others."

And Jim Geraghty reports:
[L]ast night, Twitter started buzzing about an old video of Harris talking about her decision to start prosecuting parents for the truancy of their children.
I believe a child going without an education is tantamount to a crime. So, I decided I was going to start prosecuting parents for truancy. Well, this was a little controversial in San Francisco! (laughs) Frankly, my staff went bananas. They were very concerned, at the time, we didn’t know at the time whether I was going to have an opponent in my reelection race. I said, look I’m done. This is a serious issue, and I’ve got a little political capital, and I’m going to spend some of it. And this is what we did. We recognized, as a prosecutor in law enforcement, I have a huge stuck. The school system has got a carrot. Let’s work in tandem around our collective objective and goal, which is to get those kids in school.
This is not a woman that is going to look kindly on education that does not conform to statist positions.

Also of note, many in the black community, who know her well, do not support her because they have seen how her statist positions have resulted in crackdowns on innocent people. She always supported law enforcement against her own people when she was an attorney for the state, even when it was clear there was police misconduct and an innocent person was being framed, on top of her support of victimless "crime" laws. Blake S. at Afropunk writes:
Kamala Harris has spent her career as the district attorney of Alameda County, San Francisco, and as the Attorney General aka The Top Cop of California. As someone from the Bay Area and living in Oakland, I am constantly reminded of her history of locking up Black people in the Bay Area. Her track record consists of terrorizing Black communities through the prison industrial complex and she has consistently shown herself to be an enemy to the masses of Black people... Whether it was declining to advocate for legalization of marijuana in California, in which Black people are arrested at the highest rate. Or her failure to support body cameras for the police while simultaneously opposing legislation that would require her office to independently investigate police shootings. Kamala is not for the people... Kamala even advocated that an innocent Black man named Kevin Cooper, who was a death row inmate and had a trial that was rooted in overt racism and corruption, be executed. She advocated for this even though Kevin had DNA evidence that proved his innocence yet Kamala Harris opposed it until the New York Times exposed the case... It is clear that Kamala Harris is not for the people. She is for the American empire. Don’t let her identity as a Black woman, or her identity as an AKA, or her status as an alumna from Howard University fool you into thinking she is actually for us: Kamala don’t give a fuck about you niggas.
Harris is very dangerous. She is the epitome of an individual who believes everything should be controlled by the state---with an iron fist. Her "concern" for children, from her statist perspective, should be an alarm bell to freedom lovers.

  1. I'm glad you mentioned her past. She has a record of ignoring prosecutorial misconduct as well.

I agree with you 100% that she is a dangerous nutcase.

  2. The schools are the core of government power, that's why banning home schooling is so very important. There will never be a PPS or any sort of libertarian society so long as the state controls the schools and compels attendance.

    1. This is a core issue to the current unraveling of the US. I say the damage has already been done and we are seeing the outcome in the Socialists coming up!

The real danger is just how big the Idiocracy is that can be swayed to believe in the socialist lie.

    2. The biggest benefit of immigration is it gives Americans access to the minds of people who did not spend their childhood in American public schools.

    3. Just because they didn't go to modern american government schools doesn't mean they didn't get much the same conditioning. The Prussian system spread across the world. Government isn't going to let in large numbers of free thinkers that see its rackets for what they are.

  3. "I believe a child going without an education is tantamount to a crime."

This is a great tag-line for advocacy against government schools.

  5. This is a woman who ignores parental rights, duties and authority, who believes the government owns us and our children. This is too bad, to say the least, as I cannot support such a person who opposes personal freedom and autonomy. I agree with her entirely about abolishing health insurance, though.
