Porn Industry Girds for Trump Crackdown

Oh great, so President Trump just put a conservative busybody in as attorney general. Trump seems to have a knack for picking very sick interventionists wherever he turns. And he seems incapable of shutting down their crazed efforts, domestic or foreign, even if it appears his views are different from theirs on a personal basis.

Pornographers are bracing for the first major obscenity clampdown in three decades under Trump’s new pick for attorney general, William Barr, a strident social conservative whose views threaten the lucrative industry, reports The Washington Examiner.

Anti-porn campaigners were thrilled with Trump's selection of Barr, previously attorney general under President George H.W. Bush, noting his enthusiastic obscenity prosecutions in the early ‘90s, according to TWE.

So Trump is already (in his mind) boxed in on Russia and can't do what is right by achieving peaceful trade relations with the country). And because of his affair with a pornstar, he will be unwilling to tell Barr to knock it off and focus on real crime because he thinks (in his mind he is boxed in thier. Sad.
