This is great news.
Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii is considering running for president in 2020, reports Politico.
She is not so great on economic policy (who is?) but she is one of the best around when it comes to foreign policy. She would end most, if not all, of current US military combat actions around the world.
And there is a chance she would able to calm things down on both the mad extremist left and the e
extreme nationalist right.

ReplyDeleteIf our choices are socialism and socialism with military profligacy, I'll take the former. Especially considering that Republicans might still have the House by 2020.
I'd vote for her... if I voted.
ReplyDeleteCandidate Trump sounded reasonable on foreign policy, and then got "swamped" once he took office (although some of that seems self-inflicted in terms of his choice of advisors). So how does President Gabbard successfully take on the permanent national-security apparatus (MIC) in her administration?
