"Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj" on Asians and Affirmative Action

Comedian Hasan Minhaj's new Netflix show "Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj" premiered with a discussion of Asians and the recent lawsuit against Harvard by Asians. It's thinking man's stand-up comedy.

I didn't agree with all of his views but found parts of the show very funny and overall it was extremely informative.

After watching the show, it becomes clear that the lawsuit may be about getting rid of affirmative action to replace it with SAT score action. There is an alliance here between some who want to get rid of affirmative action and some who want different government dictates.

That is, for some, it appears it is about getting government to dictate admissions from a different direction, forcing schools to base admission on SAT scores (and the like) rather than keeping government out of the process and just letting each college and university base admissions on whatever criteria they choose.

And don't miss episode 2 on Muhhamed bin Salman, I would not advise Minhaj walk into any Saudi embassies.

He is not libertarian as can be seen by his confusion on some Indian "crimes" at the end of the MbS episode but compared to pretty much everything else on television he's brilliant.
