BREXIT SHOCK: Theresa May Announces She Will Keep UK Under EU Laws for Another 21 months

UK Prime Minister Theresa May May has announced she is taking personal control of Brexit negotiations with the EU.

In a written statement to the Commons, May said:
I will lead the negotiations with the European Union, with the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union deputizing on my behalf.
And in a  new white paper published by May today, she said maintaining EU law is “necessary” through the “implementation period”, the post-Brexit transition phase that is set to run from Britain’s formal March 31 2019 exit to December 2020.

Prepare for Brexiter fury.

  1. It would be fun to see Jacob Rees-Mogg take a run at her.

  2. They never planned on making Brexit happen. The people of Britain are about to learn that you cannot voluntarily leave a political union even if you were told you could.
