I saw both positive and negative reviews from libertarians on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteWags, any way you can point us to some of the positive reviews? I watched and thought it was mostly a disaster, but would like to see an alternative angle.
DeleteI saw most of it (for some reason, it went past the hour the schedule claimed, and the DVR didn't get the end). It was every bit the clusterfuck Justin Raimondo indicates.
ReplyDeleteSigh...sad times, such opportunities wasted this cycle...
ReplyDeleteBut guys, look at all the face time Libertarians get by nominating Fiscal Conservative/Social Liberal Republicans! Maybe in 2020 the LP will choose a McCain/Bloomberg ticket? Then everyone everywhere will take us seriously. (Sarcasm)
ReplyDeleteI can't speak from experience, but this must be what it's like when you come home early to find your wife with a burnout.
Despite Johnson's many faults, I was considering voting for him just to say FU to the establishment. After reading this, I don't think I can bring myself to do it...
ReplyDeleteYes, and did you hear the part where Johnson called for the execution of Edward Snowden? Oh, was that Trump who said that? Well, fanboys can't be right every time. Besides, when Trump called for Snowden's execution, he was not claiming to be both 'socially liberal' and 'fiscally conservative.' Now that would really have besmirched him.
ReplyDeleteI love your fire, Justin. But isn't this just prudent posturing and expectant incrementalist issue targeting~?
