TRUMP CAVES: Signs Executive Order Requiring That Children and Adults Be Kept Together

Oh yeah, the great negotiator, who can get his way on everything, caves.

Just days after saying, it was a problem that Democrats would have to fix.

  1. C’mon RW, give the man his props. Gotta give him credit when he gets something right.

    1. He did so only to avert significant political fallout to his party in the midterms. Much of the damage is irreversible. Reuniting the kids with their parents is very difficult to impossible. The morally hollow xenophobe deserves all the criticism he gets.

  2. Your TDS is terminal. You have no credibility left. I expect to see you foaming at the mouth next. You been whining like a leftist emotional bitch for a week over "the CHILDREN!" and how evil Trump is and now he's a "clown" for doing what you claimed you wanted.

As with all Leftists it never was about any children except to use them in an utterly cynical way to beat up your enemies. You'll never win over any principled people to this kind of "libertarianism". You are a total joke.

    1. Except of course that principled libertarianism will ALWAYS be against the State kidnapping people and locking them in cages. Principled libertarianism will ALWAYS be against the State dictating who may travel where and when (as opposed to a private owner setting rules for her own property).

But I guess your principles as a racist bigot outweigh whatever NAP/libertarian principles you might give lip service to

    2. Danger Pioneer, have you thought about moving to Africa or some other turd world country? Another oblivious idiot to race, IQ, and culture.

    3. Another similarity between "libertarians" and leftists...name calling and personal attacks. Yeah I'm sure stop signs and red lights are to be ignored as oppression of the State, too. Too much navel gazing tends to make you incoherent. Maybe what you guys need is a slogan, you know, like "workers of the world unite". Something catchy.

I didn't notice this much obsession with the State when Obama ran it, or when Hillary might have run it. So much for "ALWAYS", huh.

Ha ha ha! Ah, Marxians can be so funny!

Do that one again where you go "Value Is Predicated Upon The Work Done!" You do it so well!

      Silly Trumpista.

      --- Your incoherent posts [...]---

You brought out "corporate overlords" like a dumb Marxian college freshman and yet you have the gall of calling my posts "incoherent"?

      Great comeback, Aristotle!

He didn't 'address it'. He pretended he couldn't do anything about it until he caved. He's therefore a clown

  6. So whos the pu$*y now? You had a good deterrent and caved. You should have at least made the mules provide identity proof of parenthood to allow families to stay together, but I am sure that would send the SJW nut jobs screaming murder again.

This may be the stick that breaks your back O cheeto man!

  7. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice - or 500+ times as in this case, with Don the con - shame on me. It remains to be seen what this executive order actually does.

  8. I'm amazed at all the virtue signallers here who are pretending they give a crap about the "children". I have questions: firstly what are those "parents" doing dragging their children through the deserts of northern Mexico? Second, how do we know how many are child sex traffickers? Thirdly, is it really a good idea to keep young children in a crowded space with many adults strangers who are not friends and families? Oh I get it - put them up at private suites at local Marriotts.

  9. I think maybe what RW is referring to the clownish part is that the administration was saying this was some sort of “principled” deterrent. Well, if it was the correct thing to do, then why did he change his mind? Clown.

  10. RW has bought into the leftard propaganda:

  11. All the neo-cons and alt-right nuts who say the parents were asking for it by exposing their kids to the dangers of refugee-travel, etc...One might as easily point out that all those reckless parents in the 1840s who dragged their kids with them on the Oregon Trail and exposing their kids to danger, deserved to be scalped by savage Indians; They knew the risks, knew what would happen to them, so why feel anything other than anger and recrimination for the parents?
It also reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lisa and Bart get in a fight, and Bart starts wind-milling his arms walking toward Lisa, and says "OK, I'm going to do this, and if you're in the way you're going to get hit" and Lisa starts blindly kicking her legs and announces "OK, but I'm going to kick out in front of me, and if something should happen to be where my leg kicks, it's going to get hit." The government is Lisa or Bart, saying "we're going to arrest and separate any family that travels unauthorized to this territory, so if it happens, it's your fault"----but it doesn't resolve the question of whether that practice, of arresting and tearing apart families for traveling, is moral and just.

    1. I agree. It’s just like when they try to justify someone being beaten/killed by the police because they disobeyed.

    2. One of the insights of Austrian economics is that all trade-offs (perceptions of personal upside and personal costs) are subjective. So to assume that any of us knows better than these parents what their trade-off calculus was is to show the same arrogance that the left shows when prescribing paternalistic domestic policy, and the right shows when "re-making" societies in foreign countries.

The reaction "What the hell were the parents thinking anyway?" is similar to the reaction of those who are mis-educated in economics to the notion of children working in factories during the Industrial Revolution, or in "sweatshops" in the Third World today. It fails to consider the next-best alternative for these children, which was not skipping happily through green meadows, running in for healthy meals with rosy cheeks 'n all. More likely it was/is back-breaking labor on a farm (if they were/are lucky), subsistence living, perhaps prostitution or violent crime, etc. So taking the risk to cross the border to a country where there is more capital available to make even the lowest-skilled workers more productive, providing some possibility of a longer and better life, may well have been the most compassionate thing a parent could do.
