BREAKING: Measure to Split California into 3 States Earns Spot on November Ballot

A proposal to divide California into three states is now qualified for the November statewide ballot.

The proposal calls for three states to be formed:

Northern California, roughly the Bay Area to the Oregon border; California, which would include six coastal counties, including Los Angeles, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura; and Southern California, which would go from Fresno to San Diego, excluding those six coastal counties.

  4. @RW

Can you tell us whether this is a good secession or a bad secession? :)

  5. It looks like each state would have a massive coastal liberal metropolis to rule the roost. It'd be better if the rest of the state just cut off the coastal counties from SF to SD and let them rule themselves.

  6. Since secession nowadays is ipso facto racist, how long before they adopt the Confederate flag as their state flag? When will the KKK take up residence?
