Police were in a standoff with an armed man at Orlando International Airport on Tuesday but there have been no indications of shots being fired or anyone being injured, local news reports said.
The Orlando Sentinel newspaper quoted an airport spokesman as saying an armed man was on the first floor of the airport in the rental car area and law enforcement officers were on scene.

A man accused of pointing a gun at an Orlando police officer has been taken into custody, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings confirmed Tuesday evening.
