I'm always suspicious of people like Amash who use Hayek as an example of a libertarian or classical liberal. I don't think they've done sufficient reading or thinking. As a student of Mises, Hayek was relatively good on (Austrian) economics. But once he turned to political philosophy he was a quite the statist.
Is a Rothbardian supposed to play like a lightweight, in order to have a chance?
