How ironic that BAMN claims to want "to save Dr. King's Dream for America", apparently oblivious to MLK's iconic "I have a dream" speech in which in plain English words he stated that he wanted the color of his children's skin NOT to be a basis by which they were judged. BAMN is just the opposite: the color of your skin means everything. How, I wonder, do they deal with people who are 1/4 black, or other ratios on the continuum? Does one suddenly cross over from oppressor to oppressed, or do these mixtures imply a little of both?
I wonder how many folks remember "The People's Temple" and Jim Jones? BAMN is the literal reincarnation of that cult.Everybody uses the phrase "Drank the Kool-Aid" but most don't get the reference. I recommend that any kids out there Google and Wiki that phrase. The relationship between BAMN and the mayor is startling. The former mayor of SF and Demo power broker Willy Brown used the People's Temple as a "rent-a-mob" for whatever program he was hustling at the time. This has all been flushed down the memory hole of course.Yes, it CAN happen here!
Technically it was Flavor Aid.
