Trump and Pence will also meet with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie; former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani; U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers; Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives T.W. Shannon; American investor Wilbur Ross; and Jonathan Gray, global head of real estate at Blackstone Group.
A scary list but Kobach is the worst. He has a plan to chase all 11 million undocumented out of the country.

ReplyDeleteLet's do it! Time for them to leave. I don't like the state any more than you, but you seem obtuse this immigration issue. Tell us how those from crappy cultures have any concept of limited government and what that means.
Hey Lab guy, the economic argument is that immigration is great for a country. There are loads of videos on YouTube from Reason.org, learn liberty.org, mises institute, foundation for economic education going through the mechanics on why it works and it makes this country great. Prior to the beginning of the 20th century, the immigration laws were lax if not nonexistent. The tired, the hungry, the sick...the children and grandchildren of these people are what made America great. The cost and effort required to boot all of these people is enormous and would be difficult but maybe less so than removing a gun from every household. But if I am reading the intent of getting the illegals out (which is to have less people mooching off the govt systems) my solution would be a) strengthen the 2nd amendment and remind people of their right (no... need) to train, arm and protect themselves as well as voluntary state militias. A people that is safe is a people that is prosperous. b) get rid of every entitlement program humanly possible and let the private side take up the matter (for- and non-profit alike) which is certainly will, c) ensure a well functioning border to patrol to ensure criminal elements don't enter d) legalize drugs so that the cartels fall apart, innocents don't die, and crime drops, and the massive govt apparatus get dismantled releasing those funds/taxes back into the productive economy. e) a massive reduction in interventionist foreign policy so that more terrorists aren't born every day with the intent to murder people f) free trade with all countries. It is the opportunity to spread western capitalism into countries with dictators and oligarchs and change them from within, either by economic revolution or by voting with their feet to go to a place that doesnt see them as cattle.
