Wenzel vs. Block on Donald Trump

Dr. Walter Block sent the below email to Dr. Michael Edelstein and me. My response follows his email.
 Dear Bob, Michael:

Does this change your mind on Hillary v Donald?

RW response:
Hi Walter,

I just don't get it.

All the lefties quoted point to the fact that Trump says he was against the Iraq war that George W. Bush started. Fine, George W. is not in office.

What does that have to do with the present? Trump has stated that he would send US troops on the ground to fight ISIS. He has stated that at a minimum he wants to bomb Libya.

Scott Horton believes his call for a safe zone for Syrians implies a no fly zone.

None of this is addressed by the lefties.

Walsh closes with:

" Survival is at stake and we must consider survival first if our judgments are to be sane."

But nothing in his essay points to "survival" discussion. He is referencing lefties who are making the point that George W.'s war was wrong., nothing else. His conclusion has no basis to be derived from the rest of his article.

Dr. Block replies:
well, I tried. yes, Donald is no Ron Paul. But, I thought this  article made the case that Hillary was worse.

  1. Two points. First, if Trump is such a war hawk why do the neocons hate him? Second, Trump uses (war) rhetoric so that he will not be seen as a whimp; does he really believe it..I doubt it. HRC, on the other hand, has a policy track record well beyond rhetoric; it is stained in blood so we know precisely what she believes.
