During this weekend's Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting in Omaha, Nebraska, Berkshire resident Warren Buffett was asked during the Q&A if he would still be bullish on America if there's a Donald Trump presidency.
The infamous Hillary supporter said that "this won't be the main problem". H e then reflected on the way his business and many others have survived all manner of regulation, meddling, and turmoil.
I hope Buffett isn't tying to imply his business could survive under any government oppression. Buffett has operated in the post-World War II era which has been mostly free market, despite ever growing cronyism---cronyism that Buffett has taken advantage of.
The more that socialist views prevail in the country the more difficult it will be for businesses to operate---and that is the direction we are headed in at an accelerating pace.
