George Clooney: We Are Trying to Counter the Koch Brothers

After raising $15 million over the weekend for Hillary (SEE: Friday Night, George Clooney and His Wife Amal Hosted a Fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in San Francisco...), George Clooney told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press:
I think there is a difference between the Koch brothers and us. The Koch brothers would profit if they get their way and that's what, you know, there's no profit for us in this.
Understanding this: Koch brothers have said that they're gonna spend $900 million not on the presidency but on the down-ticket, on the senators and the congressman and the gubernatorial races and local races. And so our job is to try and counter that in some way.

Of course, George, you and the Koch brothers are in the same game, influencing power. Your goals may be different but it is still about getting to the power players and not about live and let live, freedom, etc.

You, George, are a useful stooge of the political elite.
