Strategically, this is a brilliant move on Trump's part. I'm guessing there will be no more debates. Trump is closing the window on their attacks and taking the role as presumptive nominee. This will increase the monetary costs to both Cruz and Kasich to get their attack messages out.
This in no way implies I support Trump. it's just a commentary on the strategy.
