Why Isn't There an Autopsy Being Conducted on the Body of Antonin Scalia?

The news dropped like a bombshell on Saturday. Just hours before a Republican Presidential debate, already primed to be spirited, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is found dead in his bed. What initially sounded like a plausible account of an almost 80 year old man dying of natural causes soon took a more sinister tone. As it turns out, Scalia was 1000 miles away from home. Away from his surroundings and his family. Having been out in public with potential access to numerous people. Scalia died in the middle of the night. In a room by himself. And was found with a pillow over his head. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe it's something. And something big. Let's face the sad truth, the price on Scalia's head is such that he could be stalked round the clock by those desiring to take him down. Those who follow in the shadows and wait, even for weeks and months on end to find the opportune time. Perhaps this was it. A hunting trip to Texas. Small group. A few close friends. A clandestine killer's dream.

A couple hours after he was found dead I read that the U.S. Marshal's office had closed the case. “Nothing to see here folks, just move on.” But the sheer prominence of the deceased would seem to demand a deeper investigation. An autopsy and a toxicology report should establish a credible cause of death. Of course if this was a government hit, then the reports can easily be manipulated to mean whatever the dark powers want them to mean.

The timing is bizarre as well. We are in the last year of Obama's presidency (as far as we know); and he would love nothing more than to stack the court with just one more of his endless supply of judicial fruitcakes. Left-leaning, constitution-hating, odd balls. All of which have some type of brag such as the first-Hispanic, the first-Jewish women, the first________________ fill in the blank. It doesn't matter anyway. Obama won't nominate a constitutionalist, not even one moderately similar to Scalia. No, this appointment will be a flake-du-jour. Their skill in the realm of jurisprudence won't matter to the least. But their skill as a cross-dresser might. He is clearly drawn to weird and liberal. And his ego loves to make history. “Ladies and gentleman, let me be the first to introduce our nation's first justice who is a handicapped, bi-racial, transvestite, Muslim hobo with gauged ears and no law degree. Since this particular group has been discriminated against for so long, I your President take pride in nominating this compelling thing with it's compelling life story and will expect a prompt senate confirmation.” While I speak somewhat in jest, there is a big kernel of truth in my words.
Already, the pundits are talking about the need for the next justice to have a “compelling life story.” When in fact their life story should play ZERO part in their being nominated. The nation is not nominating someone to tell them bed time stories each night. A justices one and only job is to determine if laws passed adhere to the written word of the U.S. Constitution. That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less. Call balls and strikes, legally speaking. And otherwise stay out of the game. It's the legislative branch's job to make laws. It's the executive branch's job to govern based on the laws. And it's the court's job to judge the constitutionality of the laws. When the three branches work right it's fairly smooth. But it's never worked right so its never been smooth. Sadly, most justices aren't interested in calling balls and strikes, instead they wish to take over the game and run everyone's lives. And the next justice, taking a big cue from Obama, will simply serve as the latest social engineer empowered by America's bizarro president to turn the nation into the ever growing freak show and heavy-handed, rights-destroying cesspool it has become. And with Scalia gone, Obama's job just got a lot easier.

Maybe Scalia just laid down Friday night and went to sleep, only to wake up dead. It happens all the time. He wouldn't be the first 79 year old, heavy set, type A personality to drop dead of a massive heart attack. But one thing must be considered. This wasn't Bubba from Beaumont on a hunting trip with Billy and Bob. This was the most iconoclastic, outspoken judicial enemy the President has ever had. And with Obama now counting months (instead of years) until he is out of office; and with the razor thin margin between recent Supreme Court decisions; the Left needed to lose one of the Right justices in order to substantially tip the scales their way. Don't be too quick to bury Scalia. Let's dig for truth before we dig his grave. While the naive scoff and laugh at conspiracy theorists who float such ideas. A deceitful government smiles with grinch-like delight when the masses are duped into thinking “my government would never do something like that!” Indeed they can. They do it all the time. Sometimes you hear about it. Most times you don't. It wouldn't take much to slip something heart attack inducing into a drink. We shouldn't dismiss the idea out of hand as being too paranoid. One of the most powerful men on the planet died alone. In the middle of the night. Over 1000 miles away from home. With a pillow over his head. If there is more to the story it should at least be checked out. If there's nothing to hide then no one should balk at an investigation. But if there is something to hide you can expect Scalia to be buried and gone with haste.

So say a prayer for Scalia's family who are grieving his loss. And while you're at it say a prayer for Justice Clarence Thomas as well. He might have a mysterious bout with “natural causes” in his future as well. Rest assured the dark powers behind the scenes will do anything to stay in power. The intoxication of power is just that addictive. America is becoming more like Nazi Germany every day. So watch your back! And expect the worst from those who will do the worst, while having the most to gain.
