Michael Savage is Sick of Ted Cruz's Bible-Thumping

I don't listen to Michael Savage at all, so I have no idea what he is like on most topics, but he is very good here.

  1. Why are you surprised that a Jewish man hates Christ?

  2. Every major western nation has at some point imagined itself as God's New Chosen People and justified terrible violence by painting their enemies as Philistines or Babylonians. American Exceptionalism, Manifest Destiny, the conflation of American militarism with Christianity and America's blind loyalty to Israel are all an attempt to write America into the Bible. I think it is banal self-idolatry masquerading as eager piety.

A million people died unnecessary deaths because American "Christians" lacked the moral courage to wake up on September 12th, 2001 and take a good hard look in the mirror. They deserve what's coming.

  3. He's your standard right-statist but hearing him complain about Bible thumping is a bit odd

  4. I remember catching him on the radio from time to time. He's kind of all over the place with his views. He used to be big into the health food business before he found talk radio, if memory serves.

    1. I wonder if he realizes that religion is a part of many people's culture?

  6. He is not good here. Cruz didn't say anything anti-libertarian and the crazy Savage gets all upset. The vote was over, this is not a good example of religious pandering for votes.

  7. My family is like Cruz. Can't speak a whole paragraph without somehow mentioning god. I agree with Savage. There is a time and a place. I would not more live in a theocracy of Christianity, than I would Islam. Theocracies are oppressive period.

  8. It is good to see that you,me and many others see right through Cruz.People like Matthew above, love every topic that Michael Savage touches on,but when he rightfully uncovers Cruz`s bible thumping crusade,he disregards Savage as knowing what he is talking about.Religion has no place in politics,as far as using it as your premise.Jimmy Carter was brought up on the bible, and was a Sunday school teacher.I think that speaks for itself.Cruz will lose votes in most states, and will definitely not become the republican nominee.I`ll bet he even loses in his home state of Texas.

  9. Savage called another vetime over ptsd! Ok..look..these people enlisted in the armed forces, not the boy scouts. Wth did these people think they were signing up for? And before anyone starts this bullshit about "hey man I served did you" ..I did, never saw any combat and glad I didn't. I'm not better than the next guy who didn't enlisted and I don't deserve any more than those who didn't.
