Jason Bourne is Back

It looks as though Matt Damon will be back as Jason Bourne this summer.

I'm beginning to prefer this series to the watered down politically correct recent James Bond films.

Damon's best was, of course, Good Will Hunting and Syriana is a very underrated film. Jeffrey Wright  is awesome as the quite fixer, Bennett Holiday. Everyone needs a Bennett Holiday.

From the film, a senior partner says to Holiday:

At my firm, I have a flock of sheep...
...who think they're lions.
Maybe you're a lion
everyone thinks is a sheep.
Now, I wanna talk about the Gulf, and
...a goddamn emir...

  1. Although Mark Wahlberg steals the show in the movie "The Departed", Matt Damon plays a rat cop in a department full of rat cops. Although I think it was edited to cut the long runtime and there are a couple of loose ends that are never explained, I think it is a decent portrayal of the world of "paid informants". No one can be trusted because their is fear that the person next to you is giving you up to another alphabet agency in exchange for money or leniency.

  2. My family and I thought this tv spot was the most exciting thing about the super bowl yesterday.
Very happy Damon is back, and can't wait to see it!
