Bloomberg is going nowhere as a independent. He is a bit of a Republican shape-shifter, though. The thing to watch out for here is for Bloomberg to somehow become grafted on to the Trump campaign down the road, say as a potential VP candidate. If that were to happen, Trump should start wearing Kevlar body suits (if he isn't already) and triple the salary of his food taster.
The "centrist" people always want to back a perceived winner. Winning is waaaay more important than principles to them. I doubt bloomberg will be able to conjure up that image, especially as an independent.
Seems that the only competition that both right and left socialists like is when competing for who gets to wield the power of statism.

ReplyDeleteAs I thought when I first heard this, he will only take votes from hillary. Bloomberg is a dem and majorly anti-gun. He won't hurt trump one bit.
ReplyDeleteDidnt he start Stop and Frisk? If so he may draw votes from centrist copsuckers and law and order types that may have gone to Trump

DeleteWith prolonged campaign exposure, Trump is running a risk. With time even his non-stereotype manners will be perceived as a new stereotype.
