In an apparent attempt to top his cuddle-fest with race-baiter Al Sharpton, desperate Presidential hopeful Rand Paul has posted a pic of himself with arch-leftist actress Whoopi Goldberg.Whoppi is a crazed leftist, but on a personal level she can be pretty decent. I used to live in the same building as her and she once held the elevator for me when I was a long way from the door and it was filled with a bunch of her relatives.
In 2010 on 'The View,' Whoopi Goldberg insisted that anyone who opts out of TSA body scanners are "terrorists." This was in direct contrast to Dr. Ron Paul, who at the time was encouraging people to boycott the airlines.
In fact, I was so far away from the elevator that I didn't think anyone was going to hold it for me and I didn't even make a move toward it. But she held the door, stuck her head out and said, "Well, come on."

Leftists can be very decent people in person. It's amazing the dichotomy between how they treat ordinary people face to face when it's them personally acting (kindly) vs. how they treat them when it's the state acting on their behalf (ruthlessly).
ReplyDeleteI've generally found it to be the exact opposite. Leftists are generous with other people's money, and they are kind to the abstract "humanity", but they are assholes when actually dealing with people. I've had quite a few times riding in cars, for example, where I knew the driver was rabidly left-wing. They cut people off left and right with the "f**k you" attitude as if they are some kind of royalty entitled to do whatever they want.
