Naval Base Point Loma on lockdown.

UPDATE 5

San Diego Police Department has confirmed that officials at NMCSD reported shots fired in the facility, but could not offer further details at this time.

NMCSD advised all personnel to not report to work and avoid the area.

UPDATE 6

Naval spokesperson:

No reports of injuries.

Initial report was 3 shots heard.
