Donald Trump: "Somebody Said I’m the Ernest Hemingway" of Twitter

From The Hollywood Reporter:

"I understand the power of Twitter. I understand the power of Facebook maybe better than almost anybody, based on my results," said the Republican presidential candidate at a rally in South Carolina on Friday night.

Donald Trump has just been compared to Ernest Hemingway.

The Republican presidential candidate and reality star said he was once compared to the classic writer during a forum at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C., on Friday. "Somebody said I’m the Ernest Hemingway of 140 characters," said Trump. "Can you believe that? I was actually given that credit."

Trump continued, saying how he channels his feelings through social media. "It’s like owning The New York Times without the losses. It’s tremendous. It gives you a lot of power. If something says something bad about you, in the old days, I’d go, 'Ooh, I’m going to get that guy.' Now I just say, 'Oh, he said something bad: bing bing bing [as if typing on Twitter],' say something really bad about that, and all of a sudden, it’s amazing."
