MBQF, a political consulting firm, announced results of a recent survey dealing with the top ten GOP candidates for President, and how thy are performing in Arizona. .
The numbers signal extremely serious trouble for Rand Paul. Trump tops all candidates with 26.5% and a large portion of this is coming right out of Rand's hide.
Trump 26.5%
Walker 12.6%
Bush 12.1%
Carson 8.7%
Cruz 6%
Huckabee 3.9%
Rubio 3.9%
Perry 2%
Paul 1.7%
Christie 1.7%
It is extremely difficult to see how Rand will halt the decline, which is nationwide to one degree or another. He doesn't appear to have the type of personality to make a major impact during Thursday's debate, and with 10 candidates on stage, few are going to pay attention to him because of his declining numbers. He needs to be directly attacked to get more debate face time via responses to the attacks, but that is not going to happen.
