The Kentucky senator, who two years ago was polling like a front-runner, has stalled this summer, largely being pushed out of the news cycle and failing to show any growth in polling despite his efforts in broadening his appeal.
The latest Iowa poll measured Paul with just 5 percent, good enough for sixth place.

The sad thing about Rand is ten years ago, before my conversion to noninterventionism, I probably would have been excited about his campaign. After finally seeing the light, my response has been one of disappointment. He's arguably better than any of the other candidates but the bar is so low that's not much of a hurdle, is it?
