The theme for the summit will apparently be harassing Russian President Vladimir Putin.
President Obama will focus on violence in eastern Ukraine, at the G7 Summit, reports SkyNews.
At the site of the sitdown in the Bavarian mountains, Obama is set to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel ahead of the gathering of leaders from the world's seven most industrialized countries.
Putin will be absent from the Summit, having been excluded from the G8 after Russia annexed Crimea in March 2014.
'It's very important coming out of these G7 meetings that the world is seen as speaking with one voice in support of those important consequences that have been imposed on Russia,' said Obama adviser Ben Rhodes.

I see President O is taking some heat for grabbing a beer at 11am when he got into Germany. My view on this is the same as his habitual golfing habit. This should be celebrated rather than criticized. We need the president participating in leisure activities and drinking as much as possible. The more slothful the president behaves, the less work he gets done.
