Video Shows California Deputies Beating Man Fleeing On Horse

A California sheriff placed 10 deputies on paid administrative leave Friday after news video recorded the violent arrest of a man fleeing authorities on horse.

San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said the video "disturbed and troubled him" and appeared to show an excessive use of force.

  1. Wasn't this the same county sheriff's department that incinerated Chris Dorner just two short years ago? A county sheriff's staff and policies were caught in broad daylight brutalizing a man and putting him in the hospital. It wasn't the brutal beating that "disturbed and troubled [San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon]." It was the video: "County Sheriff John McMahon said the video "disturbed and troubled him." I'm sure it does.
