Rand Paul declared himself a candidate for the Republican nomination for president, this morning.
"I am running for president to return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government," Rand wrote on his web site this morning.
Rand did not explain how meddling in the affairs of foreign nations, such as Iran and Ukraine, fall under the dome of liberty, when taxpayer money is used for such adventures.
He did not explain how increasing the military budget advances liberty.
