Rand Paul Horse Snorting

Is this what sent Rand so far over the edge that it caused him to have his lawyers send a cease-and-desist letter to television station running attack ads against him?

Mainstream media looks at the letter as a bad move showing once again that Rand has thin skin.

Salon's Simon Maloy's comment is representative:
So Rand swings and misses again as he rolls out his 2016 campaign by picking counterproductive fights that don’t actually do anything to get his message out. Instead of prepping for the inevitable questions about how he’s evolved from a libertarian conspiracy theorist to a more mainstream “libertarian-ish” Republican, he chastised reporters for even asking and made himself look petty. A slimy dark-money group attacks him on a sensitive issue, and his response is to sic his lawyers on station managers to get them to stop running the “defamatory” ad. Clearly it doesn’t take much to throw Rand off his game plan, whatever that game plan is.

That said the Sheldon Adelson mysterious group behind the ads is vicious and appears to be having a lot of fun. In one ad. they edited the video to appear that Rand was snorting like a horse after a  question was asked of Rand that he didn't like.

  2. Isn't this how the Horse Whisperer got started? Ultimately you end up as Dr. Doolittle talking to squirrels and pigeons in the park.
